InterAmerica Stage received a very positive response to our exhibition at the 2015 ArchitectureBoston Expo (ABX) show last November. ABX is one of the largest events for the design and construction industry in the country, and the largest conference and tradeshow in the region, drawing 92% of its attendance from New England. 15,000 professionals attend each year, and we were happy to see familiar faces from Gensler & Associates, DRA Architects, Wilson Butler Architects, and studioMLA Architects, to name just a few.

At the ABX show, we displayed several photographs showcasing our wire tension grid projects, and one in particular generated a great deal of interest. Washington University in St. Louis chose a SkyDeck grid in lieu of a catwalk for overhead lighting access at the Olin Business School. As is evident in the photograph, the SkyDeck virtually disappears into the architecture and allows a great deal of natural light to shine through, while still ensuring user safety. Tarlton General Contractors was the construction manager on the project, and the architects were Moore Ruble Yudell Architects.
